Well, yesterday was SO MUCH FUN. I don’t know how I get so lucky to get to meet so many wonderful women. Pinch me! I spent the day with Dani, who attended this year’s Landyn’s Favorite Things and won a $2,000 shopping spree to the Mall at Green Hills here in Nashville. She was able to pick my brain and shop walk through any store her heart desired. Dani is a married professional with two kids in college with great style—super chic with a little edge. She came with a plan and wanted things that would show her personal style. I was ON IT!

Our first stop was Nordstrom and we immediately found the everyday bag she was looking for—it’s by All Saints and comes in a gorgeous muted army green color. A huge win! She has an upcoming trip to Belize with her husband and wanted some great travel wear—cover ups and easy pieces she could wear to dinner and feel beachy. Her husband likes to scuba dive and she likes to hike so it gives them time for both the mountain and beach. I kept that in mind, plus looked for things that were a little bit sexy for a couples trip. 

We found a beautiful Treasure and Bond cover up and grabbed it in two colors. Can’t forget the hat and we found the perfect Panama style hat by Halogen to protect her pretty face. We found the most adorable straw clutch at a great price point that I’m actually going to get for Spring Break. As we had Belize on our mind, I suggested we head to Everything But Water. They have fantastic swimsuits, cover ups, fun beachy jewelry and more. I had her try on the infamous Becca swimsuit that I sent a photo of me in to Luke’s entire little league team when I thought I was sending it to Steve. If you’ve been following me long enough you remember that incident. They have an updated version style of this one-piece suit that every woman NEEDS. Dani nabbed it and a really fun straw hat with a muted clay colored fringe on the outside that goes great with her auburn hair. I got one too! We found gold puka shell earrings and a pair of sandals that can get wet but she also wear with a maxi dress to dinner. Love a versatile piece that you can get a lot of wear out of!

We then worked our way over to Crate & Barrel since she was looking to accessorize her kitchen island. We found a pretty glass vase and I suggested she put everything on a white tray, so she’s going to pop over to West Elm to pick one up. We found the cutest succulents to add I suggested including a candle, maybe a pretty little cookbook. Grouping everything on the tray will contain it all and look beautiful. ALSO! We fell in love with their large white bowl that comes with a natural wood lid. So fun.

Unfortunately our time ran out and we hugged and shimmied our goodbyes. I’m telling you, I could have spent hours and hours with Dani. I really enjoyed her company. We talked about her kids, her husband and ALL THE THINGS! She’s a really, really sweet woman and it just reminded me again how grateful I am to have so many amazing women in this little community. LOVE YOU.
