I DONUT think we could have taken a bad picture of this place if we tried! HA! But seriously, Five Daughters Bakery does not play around when it comes to donuts. If you ever just want to test your willpower, try walking into Five Daughters and NOT eating a donut. It is almost impossible and easy to see why. From the paint colors to the detailed 100 layer donuts, Five Daughters is enticing to donut lovers young and old! Founded in Franklin Tennessee and beloved in Nashville, Five Daughters Bakery is family owned and the icing on the donut for any Nashville visiter.

When I am craving unique flavors and a high quality donut, Five Daughters on 12 South is my go to spot. Because they bake with only local and seasonal flavors, everything is fresh and ever-changing, but they do have a few staple flavors that they keep on all year around. If 100 layers of donut goodness isn’t your thing, they also have paleo donuts, yeast donuts, filled donuts and cookies! Not only are these donuts picture perfect, but they taste as incredible as they look.

With three locations in Nashville and Franklin and a food truck style airstream in 30A, there is no excuse for any Nashville local to resist stopping by and tasting the magic that is happening inside this cute little building! You can even tune into their live donutcams to make sure they still have your favorite donut on the shelves before you stop by.

I tried out the classic Vanilla Cream, The Parent Trap (peanut butter and cookies & cream) and the Lemon Blueberry. Although you can count on the Vanilla Cream, you might want to stop by Five Daughters soon to try the Parent Trap and Lemon Blueberry before the season is over! You are in for a treat my friends, grab that donut and walk down 12 south, you will be in heaven.
