You know me and how much I love a good spicy dish…well this is definitely one of them! This Habanero Gouda Grits dish is a holiday favorite in my household, so much so that we have now made it a regular side dish. Trust me, if you love cheese + spicy, this is for you!
Ingredients
- 8 cups of grits cooked – I use Dixie Lily Quick Grits
- 4 tablespoons of butter
- 2 cups of grated smoked gouda cheese
- 1 tablespoon of Smoky Honey Habañero from Spiceology
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Follow directions on the grits packaging combining grits, water and salt
- While grits are still hot, stir in the gouda cheese and Honey Habañero spices
- Add salt and pepper to taste
