Yesterday, I decided it was time to give my makeup brushes a good ole clean. To clean my brushes, I take my them (yes wood handles + all) and soak them in a warm water (I use my bathroom sink) with a little bit of baby shampoo. I swish the brushes around in the water, then I put a little bit of baby shampoo in the palm of my hand and swish the brush around in it – then I squeeze the water right out of the bristles. I repeat with the brush + clean water until the water runs clear. Then I lay them flat to dry and leave them over night.
These makeup brushes from Target are great, as well as this one from Nordstrom! Also HAVE to recommend these from ULTA – really life changing (and the price point is on point) OH and you ladies kept asking about my white and gold brush (which I got from Homegoods years ago) but I found these and they looked similar!
