You guys! If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know I recently came back from my trip to Africa with my family. And let me tell you — it was one of the most spiritually + emotionally transforming experiences I’ve ever had the privilege to embark on.

Because it was so moving, I wanted to do my best to convey to you the sights, sounds, cultures – just everything! about this trip to bring home to YOU. So, I did the only thing I know to do – I just started…talking.

I hopped on the mic last week to do my best to find the words that would most accurately describe this trip. But let me tell you — it wasn’t easy. And things got EMOTIONAL. I know, I know. There aren’t supposed to be tears on vacation —  but these were good tears.

It was really the first time I was able to get my emotions into words – and I’m grateful you’re giving me the chance to do so. You’ll hear me get extremely choked up and emotional at the end of this Part 1 episode. So maybe grab some tissues if you’re a sympathetic cryer.
